# Welcome

> Kamui Finance is an on-chain asset allocation platform offering programmatically managed, risk-tiered yield vaults backed by tokenised real-world assets (RWA).

## About Kamui Finance

### Our Mission

Kamui turns real-world assets into open financial infrastructure. Direct access for investors, operational rails for platforms, and composable assets for DeFi.

### Operator

Kamui Vault is operated by Kamui Finance DAO LLC, a Marshall Islands entity. Acting through its governance framework, Kamui Finance performs two functions: the curator function, which sources and approves eligible assets within a published, rule-based mandate, and the risk-management function, which covers issuer due diligence, credit and counterparty monitoring, concentration limits, and periodic stress testing. The DAO LLC holds legal title to each vault's underlying assets on behalf of participants, who are beneficially entitled to those assets in proportion to their participation.

### Differentiation

* **On-chain access, fully transparent.** Fully on-chain vaults with no minimums, accessible through any web3 wallet. All vault holdings and transactions are visible on-chain and fully transparent.
* **A full yield curve.** Three risk vaults, spanning treasury yield, diversified private credit, and a higher-yield strategy, sit behind a single interface.
* **Institutional underwriting.** An eight-stage allocation process with an internal risk scorecard plus independent external risk providers, carried over from the team's off-chain credit fund.
* **Structural risk separation.** Each vault is operated independently based on separate smart contracts with their own yield and liquidity mandates. The underlying assets are managed separately without commingling.

<Info>
  The vault is software infrastructure, not a fund or collective allocation scheme. Holdings and NAV are verifiable on-chain in real time.
